suitofclouds asked: Not an ask, a recommendation. You should get your hands on Portions from a Wine-Stained Notebook: Uncollected Stories and Essays, 1944-1990. It is a collection of Bukowski material that hasn't really been published in many other places. It is one of my favorite collections of his work because it represents such a diverse spread of his art. I really think you would enjoy it!

I already love it. Do you know where can I get it in english? I always try to read authors in the original language.

“Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one’s living at it.”

– Einstein

Anonymous asked: Is Bukowski Polish or?

Bukowski was born in Germany and went to United States when he was just 3 years old.

Anonymous asked: Is Bukowksi your fave writer?

Is one of my favourites. I love Murakami, Salinger, Houellebecq, John Green, Nick Hornby. Is impossible for me to choose just one.

“It’s not the men in my life that count, it’s the life in my men.”

– Mae West

Anonymous asked: Do you have a favorite poem?

This one is my favourite:

I met a genius on the train
today
about 6 years old,
he sat beside me
and as the train
ran down along the coast
we came to the ocean
and then he looked at me
and said,
it’s not pretty.

-Charles Bukowski

mighty-sparrow asked: Do you have any tattoos?

No. I love them, but I get bored of things very quickly and I am afraid to get bored of something that I will have forever.

“When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I haven’t tried before.”

– Mae West
